For quick and easy repair of rubber and neoprene items. With the vulcanizing solution SVS-VULC you can reliably patch bicycle tubes, boots, waders, inflatable boats and neoprene/surf clothing, for example. It is also ideal for repairing all vehicle tubes. The HOLE FINDER is a clever tool for searching for or locating small, not immediately visible holes in bicycle tubes and other air-filled parts. The hole finder makes it easier for the user to use the various fishingglue repair materials precisely, thus ensuring a successful and long-lasting repair.
Instructions for using the vulcanizing solution SVS-VULC Rubber and vehicle tube repair (we recommend REMA TIP TOP patches)
Slightly roughen the area to be repaired with the rough paper (slightly larger than the patch). Apply a thin layer of vulcanizing solution to the roughened surface, massage in with a brush and leave to work for at least 5 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil from the repair patch. Put the patch on and press firmly, starting from the middle and working outwards. Allow the bond to rest for at least 30 minutes. The bonded area can then bear light loads. The repair can be fully loaded after approx. 2 - 3 hours.
Neoprene repair (we recommend REMA TIP TOP patches)
Apply a sufficient amount of vulcanizing solution to the area to be repaired and massage in with a brush (slightly larger than the patch). Allow the vulcanizing solution to work for at least 5 minutes. Then apply a second coat of vulcanizing solution to the first coat and massage in with the brush, but only allow to work briefly! Remove the aluminum foil from the repair patch. Put the repair patch on and press firmly, starting from the middle and working outwards. Allow the bond to rest for at least 60 minutes. The bonded area can then be easily loaded. The repair can be fully loaded after approx. 2 - 3 hours.
Avoid direct sunlight and drafts during any repair/bonding! Temperatures below 5°C can have a negative effect on the repair result.

Danger
Hazardous components which must be listed on the label: Naphtha (petroleum)
Hazard statements: Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Causes skin irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Precautionary statements: Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of contents/container to waste treatment facility in accordance with local and national regulations.
Other hazards: Vapours may form explosive mixture with air.
