Stinger Magnet "Special small" single magnet (saltwater resistant!)
The STINGER MAGNETS "SPECIAL SMALL" offered here are N52 neodymium permanent magnets with very high magnetic attraction for fear hook fixation in spin fishing, towing and jigging with soft baits. With our unique plastic coating excellent protection against corrosion, these magnets are ideal for marine fishing! Due to the special type of magnetization through the "long side" of the magnet, a high attraction at the same time small dimensions and weight is achieved. Please note that only the small areas (10 x 3mm) have the high magnetic attraction. Find the "strong" surfaces before bonding, for example with a treble hook. You will clearly notice the difference! These special magnets are, unlike the other Stinger magnets, glued into the rubber fish body. For many years, our magnets have proven themselves thousands of times in the Royber jigs from the Royber company, which are particularly popular with sea anglers.
With the fishingglue Soft Bait Glue, the fishingglue Stinger magnets with their special coating can be glued very easily and permanently to almost all soft baits. Also on soft baits with a very high proportion of softeners as well as salted and flavored baits!
Danger! Our Soft Bait Glue and the coating of the magnets are not suitable for all softener-free soft baits from Moby made from Non Toxic Material, Z-Man soft baits from ElaZtech or baits made from similar material. Also not suitable for all soft baits from the company PROFIBLINKER.
Instructions for gluing with the fishingglue - Soft Bait Glue
Please make sure that the work area is not magnetic/metallic when gluing and that the magnets are not pulled off the soft bait by metal parts such as zippers, pliers, etc.) before the glue point has set.
1. First use the stinger to determine the spot where the magnet should be attached to the soft bait. Since the bait stretches when thrown, the distance should be slightly shorter than the actual length of the stinger! > Mark the spot!
2. If necessary, clean & dry the splice and remove the softener.
3. With very soft baits, slightly roughen the sticking point with the included buffing paper!
4. Apply Soft Bait Glue and massage in with the dosing tip and do not let it dry!
5. Place the stinger magnet on the still wet adhesive and press briefly and firmly. After 1 - 2 minutes, briefly press the glued magnet down again and seal the edges/transitions to the soft bait with some Soft Bait Glue.
6. Let the Soft Bait with the glued magnet dry for at least 30 minutes.
Avoid direct sunlight and draughts for every repair/bonding!
Temperatures below 5°C can negatively affect the bonding!
